Delivery and turnaround
Translation can run every day; notary, governorate and courthouse steps cannot. Understanding which parts of the chain pause is the difference between a realistic date and a disappointed one.
Turnaround is not only translation time. Notarisation, apostille and courier each have their own calendars, and they do not run at weekends.
What moves and what waits
| Step | Weekend / holiday |
|---|---|
| Translation | Can progress |
| Notarial certification | Limited to duty notary arrangements |
| Apostille | Does not progress |
| Courier | Limited |
This is why a file needing certification cannot be promised in “two days” without knowing which two days.
How you receive it
You receive a wet-signed copy. A scan can be sent as well, but official applications almost always require the wet-signed document.
Tell us at the start how many certified copies you need. Ordering more later means another notary visit and another item.
Collection and courier
In Ankara you can collect from our office, which removes courier time entirely. Elsewhere in Türkiye and abroad we send by courier; outbound and return courier time is added to the delivery date.
Our commitment
The delivery date is written in your quotation. If we miss it for reasons within our control, a defined remedy applies.
Delays caused by notary, governorate or courthouse congestion are outside our control and outside the commitment, but we tell you as soon as we know.
Planning backwards
If you have an appointment, plan from that date backwards: obtain short-lived documents last, and complete apostille and translation back to back.
Where this fits
The four steps leading up to delivery are on how it works, and the itemised cost structure — including courier as a separate line — is on prices.
Frequently asked questions
