Prices

Per-page rates for our main language pairs, in euro and VAT-inclusive, with every third-party item shown separately. Notary and apostille fees are set by the state, not by us, and are never folded into our figure.

Translation pricing in Türkiye is confusing because there is no single counting unit. Some offices quote per word, some per 1,000 characters without spaces, some per 1,800 characters with spaces. Two quotations often cannot be compared at all.

This page gives our figures and explains how they are built, so you can compare them with anything else you are offered.

The unit

We count 1,000 characters without spaces as one page. This has nothing to do with paper pages: a one-line certificate still counts as one page, and a dense A4 sheet can count as more than one.

⭐ Per-page rates

Figures are per page and include VAT. Turkish advertising legislation requires consumer prices to be shown with all taxes included, so these are the amounts you actually pay us.

DirectionPer page (VAT included)
Turkish → English14,40 EUR
English → Turkish9,00 EUR
Turkish → German16,80 EUR
German → Turkish10,50 EUR

Other language pairs are quoted individually. Prices are in euro, which keeps quotations stable for people budgeting from outside Türkiye; payment can also be taken in Turkish lira at the rate on the day.

Turnaround and urgency

Normal turnaround is 1–2.5 working days depending on volume. The urgency you choose changes the fee:

  • Economy: 20% lower, twice the time
  • Normal: list price, standard time
  • Express: 60% higher, half the time

Where notarisation is involved, the notary office’s own processing time is added to the delivery date.

What the translation fee covers

Translation by a notary-sworn translator, the translator’s statement, stamp and wet signature, and one wet-signed copy.

Additional certified copiesNotary officeOfficial tariff

The notarial item is fixed by an official tariff published annually by the Ministry of Justice and paid directly to the notary. The exact amount is calculated by the notary office when the document is presented, because further items such as duties and certified copies are added at that point — which is why it appears as its own line rather than inside our figure, and why we do not quote a figure for it.

Comparing quotations

Three questions make two offers comparable: which counting unit, whether VAT is included, and whether notarisation is inside the figure or beside it. An office that cannot answer all three quickly is not necessarily cheaper — it is just harder to check.
