Cancellation and refunds
How cancellation, correction and refunds work: free correction where a rejection is caused by the form of our work, and a clear position on what we can and cannot undertake.
This page explains what happens if you cancel, if something is wrong with the work, or if an institution does not accept the file.
Cancelling before work starts
Nothing begins until you approve the quotation, so cancelling before approval costs nothing. Your statutory withdrawal right is explained on right of withdrawal.
Cancelling after work has started
You can stop the work. We account for the part completed and deliver it; official fees already paid to third parties follow those institutions’ own rules.
Errors attributable to us
If the translation contains an error we caused, we correct it at no charge and arrange re-certification where necessary. Notification within a reasonable period after delivery is stated in your quotation.
⚠ If an institution does not accept the file
Two situations must be separated.
Form-related rejection — wrong certification level, missing page, illegible scan attributable to us: we correct it at no charge.
Substantive rejection — the authority is not satisfied with your application on its merits: this is outside what any translation office can influence.
We do not undertake that a file will be accepted, and we do not use wording that suggests otherwise. Please send us the written rejection so the cause can be identified.
Official fees
Notarial, apostille and consular items are paid to those institutions. Their refundability is governed by their own rules, not by ours.
Complaints
Raise a complaint with us directly. Consumer arbitration committees and courts remain available to you under Turkish law.
